The variety was originally discovered as an accidental cross between two Aloinopsis species in chief horticulturist David Salman’s rock garden, “ Aloinopsis ‘Psychedelic’ (Psychedelic Hybrid Mesemb) has caused quite a stir among my friends who appreciate South African succulents,” said Salman.
